With this book club series, girls will follow Fancy Nancy as she swaps tutus, learns the dangers of poison ivy, meets a boy from Paris, and dines under the night sky. These plans include themed activities as well as optional field trips to connect readers to the world of Fancy Nancy. This series is targeted to early readers about 4-7 years old and can be modified for clubs wishing to meet every day of the week, once a week, or once a month. Each plan lasts about one hour when the club reads the book for the first time during the club meeting. Members may, however, choose to read the book beforehand and discuss during club time.
